Aerial

Rules are now in place that guide our operations that are intended to strike a balance between safety and enabling operators like ourselves to work within our industry.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has granted us permission to fly under Rule 101 and Rule 102 which carry a host of safety and operational considerations which we strictly adhere to.

Flights within controlled areas (airspace restrictions), over neighbouring property, above 120m, council parks, roads etc all carry risk where we follow CAA guidelines that allow us to achieve the best possible images for our clients.

  • We are able to fly under Rule 102
  • Safety and Risk management override all flight operations
  • We carry liability insurance for our Drone (UAV) operations
The below map (c/o Airshare) shows the areas concerned with the red areas as Controlled Airspace (permission from Air Traffic Control (ATC) is required). The blue circles are Aerodromes or Airports (permission from the governing body of the aerodrome and control tower before and notification after flights is required).
